Overview

OxySource is a Virtual File System for ASP.NET Applications. It allows the infrastructure team in an organisation to deploy all the files that make up an ASP.NET Application (.aspx, .ascx, .css, .dll, .jpg: any file type) once into a SQL Server Database and all the actual websites and applications that depend on these files will run on the most current version of the files. OxySource also comes with file caching system that allows granular control over how and where your files are cached.

Deploy once, run anywhere

Determine which file groups should be in memory, the file system or in the database. This can be handled based on file extension, file size, or simply on a First Come, First Served basis.

This product is targeted to be available in the fourth quarter of 2008.
