1. What is OxyProject Assistant?

OxyProject Assistant is a fully configurable Issue and Activity Tracking system.
OxyProject Assistant has a sophisticated filtering, searching and sorting mechanisms that allows for easy information retrieval.
Advanced configurable features, and multi user and multi database manager support, make OxyProject Assistant an indispensable tool that is easily tailored for a large variety of software development environments.

2. What types of user interface in available for OxyProject Assistant?

There are two types of user interfaces available for OxyProject Assistant:
i) Web Application hosted on a server and available to the users through a web browser
ii) Windows Client that is a Win Forms application installed on the user machines

3. What browsers does OxyProject Assistant web user interface support?

There is a wide variety of browsers that are supported by the OxyProject Assistant web user interface.
The following browsers are recommended (without implying a restriction to these browsers):
i) Internet Explorer 6.0 or a later version
ii) Mozilla Firefox 2.0 or a later version

4. What are the system requirements for OxyProject Assistant Server?

You can run OxyProject Assistant Windows Client on the following operating systems:
    i) Microsoft Windows XP or a later version
    ii) Microsoft Windows Vista
    iii) Microsoft Windows Server 2003 or a later version
    iv) Microsoft Windows 2000 Service Pack 3 (SP3) or a later version

The following .NET Framework version should be installed:
    i) NET Framework 2.0 or a later version

The following database managers should be installed:
    MS SQL Express
    MS Desktop Engine 2000
    MS SQL Server 2000 or a later version
    Microsoft Jet 4.0 or a later version

5. What are the system requirements to host the OxyProject Assistant web application?

To host OxyProject Assistant web application, you will need the following:
You can host OxyProject Assistant web application on the following operating systems:
    i) Microsoft Windows XP Professional or a later version (maximum 10 concurrent connections are supported)
    ii) Microsoft Windows Vista (II6.0 compatibility module should be installed)
    iii) Microsoft Windows Server 2003 or a later version
    iv) Microsoft Windows 2000 Service Pack 3 (SP3) or a later version

The following .NET Framework version should be installed:
    i) NET Framework 2.0 or a later version
