In the Connect to Server dialog specify
the Server Name,
the Authentication mode, user credentials (if SQL Server Authentication is
selected), and then click the Connect
button.
The Database
Explorer tree control is populated with the databases for the
specified server. Accessible databases are depicted by an enabled cylinder () while the databases that are not accessible are depicted by a
disabled cylinder ().
Note
In Windows Vista, some of the databases
may be not accessible if Windows Authentication is selected and the
application does not run under an administrator role.
Click the Tools\Table Processing Instructions\Create Field
Name Processing Instructions menu item. The Create Field Name Processing
Instructions dialog box is displayed as shown in “Figure 41: Create Entity Name Processing Instructions dialog box”.

Select the database for which the Table
Field Name processing instructions will be created.
Optionally specify the Table Matching Wildcard
that defines the matching criteria for the tables that will be included in
the set of tables for which Entity Name processing instructions will be
created. Appendix C describes the wildcard
matching rules. You can also specify the Column matching wildcard
that defines the matching criteria for the columns that will be included
in the set of columns which Table Field Name processing instructions will
be created.
Specify the assignment rule and the
associated parameter. Appendix D describes the assignment rules and the
parameters that are associated to each rule.
Click OK to start creating Table Field Name
processing instructions or Cancel
to discard the action and close the dialog.
